CRYING SOLUTIONS

There are some effective CRYING SOLUTIONS to babies' needs. Be calm and relaxed is helpful to mother and baby. Below are some ideas for crying solutions.

Some Points & Ideas to CRYING SOLUTIONS:

  • attend to babies' needs as soon as the first cry sounds. They tend to be crying less when picked up promptly. They will also swallow less wind which will help when feeding. Again, rest assured you cannot spoil a baby at this age.
  • Only place baby down to sleep when baby is asleep
  • burp baby after a feed to expel wind. This should help prevent wind problems later.
  • if able, put baby in a sling while doing household chores. Babies like their mother's closeness and will be more contented when placed close to mother.
  • rocking baby gently and humming softly can be soothing for baby
  • praying helps for those who believe
  • put on soothing music like gentle sounds of surf or birds
  • gentle soothing massage is beneficial for baby
  • if needed, a quiet drive around the block in baby car seat can be soothing and baby usually falls asleep quickly
  • do not shake baby as it can cause brain damage
  • if unable to cope, seek help from HealthCare Professionals
  • If baby cannot be pacified, seek Medical Advice after all above measures have been exhausted.
