Crying Babies
Crying babies are a concern to their parents. Many bleary-eyed, sleep deprived parents will be too happy to find out why their babies cry and probable solutions to the problem.
Crying is baby's main form of communication with its parents of its need. Babies cry for a reason. It may be due to COLIC, TEETHING, hungry or just being uncomfortable. It is not possible to spoil 1 year old babies or younger by answering their cries. At that age, they do not have the cognitive ability to deliberately make life difficult for their mothers. CRYING SOLUTIONS can be found when the problem is made known.
Babies cry because they are hungry, uncomfortable, want attention, tummy upsets, colic, frightened or tired. It is torture to baby and mother by allowing baby to cry without responding as well-meaning but ill-informed, badly mistaken friends or relatives would have you to believe you will spoil them by prompt response to the newborn's cries and attending to babies' needs.
Under 1 year old, babies view their world to be only complete with mother present. They see it as baby and mother are one entity. That is why separation can be quite an anxiety for them. In less developed countries, babies tend to cry less and are more contented as they are carried around happily in SLINGS as their mother worked in their fields.

When babies' needs are responded to in a prompt and consistent manner during its first year, studies show that children grow up to be more secure as children. Build your babies' feeling of security by answering to their cries promptly.
